T-Slot Nuts F can be inserted into the profile groove at any point and can be secured there by means of the integrated grub screw. This defines the position of the thread and prevents the T-Slot Nut being moved unintentionally. An integrated sprung ball used in combination with an anti-torsion feature holds the T-Slot Nut F in place before it is finally secured in position.T-Slot Nuts F have a second function - they ensure the safe partial destruction of the electrically insulating anodized layer of the profiles in the base of the T-slot. Tightening the grub screw produces a permanent conductive connection between the T-Slot Nut and the profile. This establishes an ESD profile connection without need for any additional elements.
