Standard-Fastening Set 8 K from item joins two Line 8 profiles at a right angle. The plastic spacer takes up minimal space in the grooves, which are left free on all sides. A thread needs to be tapped into the core bore of the first profile to install the fastener. The second profile requires an installation bore and is connected in a fixed position. Please note the load-carrying capacity, which is different to that of Standard-Fastening Set 8.Compared to other fasteners, Standard Fasteners protrude into the groove to a minimal extent only. Standard-Fastening Set 8 features a double-sided anti-torsion feature as standard, but is also available in variants that have either a connecting plate that is shortened on one side or a compact centring aid (K). The variants leave one or both grooves of the aluminium profiles free. Standard-Fastening Sets 8 are also available in an ESD-safe design to help dissipate electrostatic charges.
